#wedNEWSday – Walking Netball receives a big thank you!

Each week we bring you a good news story from across the South West as part of our wedNEWSday articles. Make sure you check out our website each week to keep up to date and if you have a great story let us know using the details below!

On Saturday 11th August a Walking Netball Tournament and Festival was held at Dorcan Recreation Complex to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Over £1000 was raised which will help to fund home adaptations, respite care and quality of life grants for local people within Wiltshire.

A special thank you was given from the North Wiltshire Group, Motor Neurone Disease Association to Mo Squires, her girls and visiting guests for their generous donations which helped their reach the amazing total.

Every donation makes a difference to a person living with MND. Motor Neurone Disease Association ensure that every pound they receive is spent carefully so that people affected by MND get the help they need, both now and in the future. Please below how the money will help.

Each week we will be updating you on a good news story from the South West as part of our new wedNEWSday articles. If you have a good news story that you would like to share please send your story and a picture to Laura Woodruff (southwest@englandnetball.co.uk)
