#wedNEWSday stories – NSW U13 State School Tournaments 2018

Each week we bring you a good news story from across the South West as part of our wedNEWSday articles. Make sure you check out our website each week to keep up to date and if you have a great story let us know using the details below!

Between 6th – 8th March 2018, twenty-five U13 teams from state schools all across the South West took part in our 3rd Annual U13 State School Competition.

As per previous years, three events were held – a north, mid and south competition – with each event being run by young leaders from the respective host schools

We are pleased to congratulate the following winners:

U13 North

Hosted by Oasis Academy Brislington – Bristol

Winners = Farmors School – Glou

Runners Up = Colston’s girls School – Bristol

U13 Mid Event

Hosted by Kingdown School Warminster

Winners = Lavington School – Wiltshire

Runners Up = The Blandford School – Dorset

U13 South

Hosted by Torquay Girls School

Winners = Penryn Cornwall

Runner Up = Tein School – Devon

 

Special thanks to all host schools (Oasis Academy Brislington, Warminster School & Torquay Grammar School) and their young leaders who have helped to make all three events a success.
