Walk of the town

Through an Active Ageing Forum that Active Gloucestershire ran earlier this year, the University of The Third Age caught wind of Walking Netball and wanted to know more, and pronto!

Only a matter of months later, a six week trial block has recently concluded with an average of 24 ladies turning up weekly. This weekend the group have entered into a Walking Netball Festival in Wiltshire and, through minimal persuasion, the assigned Walking Netball Host is continuing to the end of this month, with a handover coach ready to take the reigns in September.
